Norton Commando Rear Wheel Cush Drive Block Set – Part Number 062074A
This Norton Commando cush drive block set (part number 062074A) is the correct replacement rubber buffer kit for the rear wheel of 1973 and 1974 Norton Commando 750 and 850 models. Each set includes six cush drive blocks – three thin and three thick – that fit into the rear wheel hub to absorb drivetrain shock and protect the wheel bearings from sudden torque loads.
The cush drive rubbers are a critical wear item on the Norton Commando. When these rubber blocks deteriorate, crack, or compress, you will notice clunking on acceleration and deceleration, excessive lash in the drivetrain, and accelerated wear on wheel bearings and gearbox internals. Replacing the cush drive blocks is one of the first jobs in any Commando rear wheel service.
This set is sourced directly from our UK supplier and meets original factory specifications for the 850 Commando and 750 Commando from engine number 212273 onward. Fits models including the Norton Commando 850 Mk1, Mk1A, Mk2, Mk2A, and the late 750 Commando.
