The Boyer Bransden COIL00004 is a 12 volt dual output ignition coil with a 4.5 ohm primary resistance, designed for use on twin-cylinder motorcycles such as the Norton Commando, Atlas, and other Lucas 17M12 / 17P12 replacements. This coil is the factory-recommended pairing for Boyer Bransden electronic ignition systems (Mk III, Mk IV, and Micro Power) on standard 12V negative-earth applications.
