Norton Reserve Fuel Tap (Petcock) – Flat Lever, 1/4″ BSP, Viton Seals (06-4512)

Never get stranded with a dry tank again — this late-type Norton Reserve Fuel Tap gives you access to your emergency fuel reserve when your main supply runs out. This is the Reserve tap (ON/RES), which controls the reserve fuel supply from the bottom of your fuel tank. It is designed to be used alongside the Main tap (06-4511), with one tap fitted to each side of the fuel tank.

Featuring a flat chrome lever with a clearly marked indicator plate showing ON and RESERVE positions, this tap threads in with a standard 1/4″ x 1/4″ BSP thread. Like the main tap, it is fitted with premium ethanol-resistant Viton seals — a critical improvement over original cork seals that swell, shrink, and leak when exposed to modern ethanol-blended fuels. Supplied complete with removable screen filter, brass locknut, and Dowty sealing washer.
